Raw power can turn heads, but refined power is what truly deserves attention. Dynamic Torque Vectoring delivers power on demand to the appropriate rear wheel while driving through corners. This feature enhances agility and helps maintain a smooth and seamless driving experience.
Thanks to an available Twin-Turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine, efficient horsepower per liter output and an AWD powertrain, the Continental is one drive you’re sure to remember. With standard Dynamic Torque Vectoring, all-wheel drive, 400 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque, it’s also a drive you’ll wish to repeat.
Now, navigating traffic can feel a little more effortless. Available adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go marries camera and radar, enabling the Continental to sense and adjust to the pace of nearby cars. Stop-and-go functionality allows the vehicle to come to a complete stop and restart when traffic begins to move.
Auto Hold offers a new form of relief when you come to stop signs, signals and other braking situations. When the system is engaged and the driver uses the brake pedal to bring the vehicle to a standstill, the system will hold and then release the brakes when the accelerator is pushed.
LED taillamps illuminate more quickly than incandescent bulbs and make a stylish statement.
The E-Latch door handles and power cinch that gathers in the doors make for stylish entrances and graceful exits.
Natural patterns within the wood accents make each Continental unique. Genuine woods, including open-pore Espresso Ash Swirl, Jade Ash Swirl and Brown Swirl Walnut were carefully selected to create a sumptuous and connected flow between interior surfaces.
The Lincoln Continental was crafted to present a culmination of interior amenities that create an overwhelmingly graceful experience. Designers worked to reduce lines that can divide an interior, producing a more connected flow. The seamless center console and laser-cut roll-top tambour cupholder door indicate deliberate attention to a purposeful and pleasing aesthetic. In-door seat controls, a front driver’s seat that fully retracts as you exit, striking wood inlays and available rich leather surfaces surround you in an interior that is rejuvenating and decidedly Continental.
To best present ever-evolving technology, Lincoln designers and engineers took a holistic approach to redefining what a steering wheel can, and should, do. Controls for the configurable digital display, SYNC® 3 and more are positioned for ease of use. Wood inlay and leather-wrapped airbag covers help to create a steering wheel that is as functional as it is elegant.
Comfort should never be kept at arm’s length, which is why designers mounted available seat controls right in the door – to harmonize with the movements of both passengers and the driver. And the buttons themselves – both their position and feel – have undergone the same careful consideration as the rest of the vehicle.
The available 360-degree camera lets you maneuver in low-speed situations with a view of your surroundings. Four cameras on the front, rear and sides merge to provide a bird’s-eye view around the vehicle. You’ll be better able to see around corners, down alleys and while backing into tight parking spaces. You can even use the camera located in the vehicle’s grille for a 180-degree split view to boost visibility in cross-traffic situations.
By allowing drivers to keep their eyes on the road, the Head-Up Display helps make responding to the road ahead easier. It contributes to a custom driving experience by letting drivers choose what data to display, from standard driving information to adaptive cruise control settings, lane-keeping information and more. The Continental Head-Up Display, with its adjustable viewing position, is the biggest and brightest windshield-projected informational display in its class.† Plus, digital light projection, another industry-first for Lincoln, allows the display to be visible in more ambient lighting conditions than systems offered by competitors, even when the driver is wearing polarized sunglasses.
